LEBANON — Funeral services for Mrs. VanHook, 85, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Mrs. VanHook, of Lebanon and a native of Wilson County, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Quality Care Nursing Home.
The daughter of the late Glyde and Mary Thelma Clemmons Knight, she was a homemaker and a member of the Rocky Valley Baptist Church. Visitation after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Services will be conducted by Rev. W. L. Baker, Rev. Jason Lohorn and Rev. Mark Rager. Interment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children MaDonna VanHook (Gary) Ford of Pisgah, AL; Eugenia VanHook Raines; Ronnie (Teresa) VanHook; Lisa VanHook (Gary) Daniels and James Robert (Glenda) VanHook — all of Lebanon; 12 grandchidren; 26 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years Robert E. VanHook on January 1, 2005; and a son Jack Wilson VanHook.
Honorary pallbearers: special caregiver Tina Hutson; and the staffs of Quality Care, Regional Transportation and DCI.
Active pallbearers grandsons.
