Mary Louise Gannon Sanders, 87

LEBANON — Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Sanders, 87, of Lebanon. A member of Gladeville Baptist Church and a homemaker, Mrs. Sanders passed away Tuesday July 19, 2011 at the University Medical Center.

The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 12 Noon until the funeral. Services will be conducted by Dr. Bruce Grubbs. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: sons Billy Clayton (Huetta) Sanders, David Michael “Mike” Sanders and Boots (Rebecca) Sanders; daughter Barbara Louis(Robert) Dennis.

Also surviving is sister Mattie B. “Pinky” Bair; grandchildren Ginny Turner, Clay (Amy) Sanders, Patricia St. John, Teresa (Charles) Banks, Susan (Ken) Moulton, Michael (Shawna) Sanders, Mary Jane (Tim) Goblish, Mary Faith Sanders, Grace Sanders, Matthew Duke and Joshua Friar; great grandchildren Rebecca Turner, Erica (Norman) Maxwell, Victoria (Stephen) Leonard, Cheyenne Glidewell, Olivia Glidewell, Barbara Jean Banks, Elizabeth Banks, Nicholas Moulton, Chelsea Sanders, Clayton Sanders, Gannon Sanders, Garrett Goblish, Gretchen Goblish, Mary Elizabeth Goblish, Megan Allison, Jeremy Bowen and Josh Bowen; great-great grandchildren Nathan Maxwell, Emma Leonard and Emma Louise Allison; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dillard J. Gannon Sr. and Mamie Clemmons Gannon; husband Willie Clayton Sanders; brother D.J Gannon and son Doyle Sanders.

Active pallbearers: sons, grandsons, great grandsons and a great great grandson Damien Boyd, Charles Ricketts, Charlie Palmer, Butch Earheart and Chris McDonald.

Honorary: Bragg Group of Gladeville Baptist Church, The Bell Circle of Gladeville Baptist Church, “Going Like 60” of Gladeville Baptist Church; The Group; The Birthday Club; generations of children rocked over the years; Bridgett Scott; Lucy and Dave Stephens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Sanders’ memory to the Gladeville Baptist Church Nursery. Arrangements by Partlow Funeral Chapel, Lebanon.
