93-year-old Cisne resident, Sybil Ellis died at 10:05 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13 at the Clay County Hospital in Flora. She was a homemaker and farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Hilda Smith of Johnsonville; a son, Brent Ellis of Cisne; a daughter-in-law, Lillie Ellis of Portage, IN and a sister, June Powless of Cisne; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services for Sybil Ellis will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at th Providence General Baptist Church in Johnsonville with burial in Cisne Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 Wednesday evening, Jan. 15 at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne and 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Providence General Baptist Church and will be accepted at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
